About the role
- The Medical Scribe also transcribes patient orders, including laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications, ensuring that all information is entered into the EMR system promptly and correctly.
- The Medical Scribe is expected to conduct themselves professionally and carry out other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- The ideal candidate for this position must have a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute and be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- A strong understanding of filing systems, office machines, and equipment is essential.
- The candidate must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
