About the role
- Mars Petcare- Reliability Maintenance Technician- Columbus, OH
- Pay: Based off experience ranging between $36.52- $42.62/hour and $1.50/hour shift premium
- 1st shift: Mon-Fri: 7A-3:30P; Sat-Sun 7A-7:30P
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment
- Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
- Bachelor's degree in technical area (Ex: Engineering) AND 1+ years' experience in a maintenance related capacity
Nice to have
- Technical degree or certification(s)
- 3+ years' experience as a maintenance technician
- Basic material machining and welding knowledge
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Predictive and conditioned maintenance skills
- Read and interpret blueprints, basic/intermediate electrical schematics and PLC ladder logic.
- What will be your Key Responsibilities?
- Ensure complete and timely closeout of unplanned work orders with a clear description of the observed problems, actions taken and follow-ups
