Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Sales, Global Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, FP&A, IT, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure revenue recognition considerations are appropriately incorporated into business processes and contract structures.
- Serve as a key advisor to business partners by clearly articulating revenue accounting guidance and operational implications under both U.S. GAAP and IFRS in a manner that non accountants would understand and appreciate.
- Enhance and strengthen end-to-end revenue accounting processes, internal controls, and operational governance frameworks to support a scalable global revenue accounting environment.
- Lead process improvement initiatives related to order-to-cash, contract review, revenue reserve methodologies, and revenue systems automation.
- Support CRM and system implementation projects, including Salesforce or similar platforms, to ensure appropriate revenue recognition considerations, system configurations, and internal controls are designed and implemented effectively.
- Partner with IT and business teams on ERP and CRM integrations impacting revenue accounting processes and reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors on revenue accounting matters and support audit and regulatory inquiries.
- Develop and maintain revenue accounting policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Mentor and develop revenue accounting team members and support the overall growth of the accounting organization.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant experience in revenue recognition and public accounting experience with a Big 4 or national accounting firm.
- Strong experience with:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
Nice to have
- Experience with financial statements disclosure requirements relating to revenue.
- Experience with large-scale ERP or revenue systems implementations (SAP S4/HANA).
- Prior people management or team leadership experience.
