About the role

As a Test Engineer I at Sierra Space, you will begin your career by contributing to the testing and validation of aerospace systems and components.
You will assist in the planning, execution, and documentation of verification and validation activities, working closely with more experienced engineers and multi-disciplinary teams.
In this role, you will assist in the planning, conducting, and documenting of Verification and Validation (V&V) activities for aerospace systems and components.

Utilizing schematics, service manuals, test procedures, and logical troubleshooting techniques, you will support testing activities and resolve routine technical problems.

Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
2 years of experience.
Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from senior engineers.
Familiarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and exposure to generation and disposition of product non-conformances.
Familiarity with schematics, service manuals, test procedures, and logical troubleshooting techniques.

Strong communication skills to clearly and effectively convey basic technical information to diverse audiences.
Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to contribute to routine technical solutions.

$73,175.00 - $100,615.25
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
To conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.
