About the role

  • This role contributes to a positive patient experience by maintaining a clean, organized environment while providing attentive, compassionate service.
  • Prepare patient trays and dining areas according to Hospitality Health ER service standards.
  • Ensure patient satisfaction by checking in throughout meal service and responding promptly to requests.

Responsibilities

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities Deliver exceptional hospitality and customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Accurately take, process, and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner.
  • Clear meal trays and maintain clean, organized patient dining and service areas.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and support staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Current Food Handler's Certificate required.
  • Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards.
  • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to utilize point-of-sale or order entry systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Basic math, reading, and writing proficiency.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in kitchen and patient care environments with varying temperatures.
