Responsibilities
- The Business Analyst - VA LGY (VALERI) translates business needs into clear, deliverable requirements that support Veterans and stakeholders. The role develops user stories and breaks down requirements into actionable functionality
- The analyst contributes to product design, specifications, and development, produces high‑quality deliverables with guidance from a team lead, reviews solution options, and builds strong, collaborative relationships.
- The Business Analyst - VA LGY (VALERI) translates business needs into clear, deliverable requirements that support Veterans and stakeholders.
- Develop user stories and break down requirements into deliverable functionality.
- Maintain other documentation related to development of new features.
- Responsible for contributing to the design, specifications, and development of products to meet the client needs.
- Maintain positive relationships with the client.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
- An additional 2 years of experience with an Associate's Degree.
- An additional 4 years of experience with a high school diploma.
- Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Can easily shift focus between high priority tasks as required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience supporting the VALERI application for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- In depth knowledge of the mortgage industry.
- Experience implementing Salesforce and/or AWS solutions for the federal government or Department of Veterans Affairs specifically.
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
