About the role

  • The Group provides comprehensive breadth and depth of coverage across four core services: Market Making, Clearing, Hedging and Investment Solutions and Agency and Execution.
  • It has a major franchise in many major metals, energy and agricultural products, executing around 50 million trades and clearing 205 million contracts in 2022.
  • The Group provides access to the world's major commodity markets, covering a broad range of clients that include some of the largest commodity producers, consumers and traders, banks, hedge funds and asset managers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform End of Day checkouts or reconciliations for various products or trade flows.
  • Adhere to and propose improvements to control framework for the support of the business.
  • Work with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Compliance, IT and Operations to support BAU (business as usual).
  • Support the set up of new customer or street-side accounts.
  • Perform and evidence the performance of daily controls.
  • Strong interpersonal characteristics with ability to build relationships with internal staff across the firm as well as interact comfortably with MCM clients.

  • Skills and Experience At least (1-5) One to five years' experience in a Financial Institution required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
  • FINRA Series 99 strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting Equities and/or Options required.
  • Experience with DTC/NSCC and OCC.
  • Working knowledge of Broadridge BPS strongly preferred.

Compensation

  • The Brokerage business is well established while Equity Prime Brokerage is rapidly growing.
  • As such the Equity Brokerage Trade Support team must ensure controls are followed and always evaluated for improvement.
