About the role

  • We are seeking an Art Outsourcing Manager to oversee our external art production pipeline, identify outsourcing opportunities, evaluate deliverable quality, remove bottlenecks, and establish clear timelines for external work.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with internal Art, Production, Design, and Leadership teams to understand project needs, priorities, and creative goals, while maintaining strong communication and productive relationships with external partners.
  • Establish and maintain efficient outsourcing workflows, documentation, and review processes to optimize production efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate schedules and asset deliveries with Production teams to ensure outsourced content is delivered on time and supports milestone goals.
  • Maintain asset tracking systems, documentation, and communication channels to ensure visibility, accountability, and smooth collaboration across teams.
  • You will manage vendor relationships and ensure all outsourced assets meet quality standards, align with the project's artistic direction, and are delivered on schedule.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in game art production, outsourcing management, or project coordination within the video game industry
  • Experience creating schedules, tracking milestones, and managing risks, dependencies, and production bottlenecks

Compensation

  • The pay range for this role is 100,000- 130,000 CAD per year.
