About the role

  • This position reports to the Manager, Supply Chain Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and maintain forecast through databases, SAP, COSMO and BI (Business Intelligence, FEA's Forecast system).
  • Review and manage monthly/weekly MRP demand in SAP.
  • Provide customer support and services to existing accounts
  • Develop with input from Sales, inventory strategies, product customization, and new product introduction and product phase-outs plans.
  • Demand planning based on customer forecast and purchase orders. Demand planning by customer and by product based on material and delivery lead time.
  • Perform customer-centric value chain planning to improve customer service levels while reducing costs, thus positively impacting growth and profitability.
  • Plans forecasts and schedules material needs according to production schedules and lead times.
  • Collaborate with Accounting for invoice or payment discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Logistics and Warehouse for materials receipt in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree or its equivalent in one of these areas - Business, Economics, Engineering, etc.;
  • Experience with supply chain functionality and a good understanding of forecasting
  • High proficiency with MS Office products
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience with an ERP system.
  • Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable.
  • Must be a collaborative, self-motivated, entrepreneurial, innovative, analytical, process-oriented, problem solver and teammate.
