About the role
- This position conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdown of facilities, machinery and equipment.
- This position tests, inspects, troubleshoots and repairs machines and equipment.
- The Maintenance Craft Technician works closely with various Facilities departments to provide seamless operations, excellent customer service, and a productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Repairs and services mechanical and building equipment.
- Acquires maintenance bids and performs maintenance walks.
- Analyzes repair programs; coordinates performance of modifications, installations, and repair work with building contractors and sub-contractors.
- Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings and specifications in support of work activity.

- Ability to work under minimal supervision, to self-initiate activities, and to work within timelines
