About the role
- Join our team at our Princeton, KY facility, home to the production of a variety of quality cracker products.
- You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- This role ensures that all necessary parts are available for maintenance activities, coordinate orders, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Purchase necessary MRO materials to ensure the availability of parts and supplies for plant operations. Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and prioritize purchasing needs.
- Locate and source critical repair parts, identifying and recommending satisfactory substitutes for unavailable materials and services. Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely access to needed parts.
Requirements
- You'll fit right in if you have:
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and procurement software such as SAP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Nice to have
- Recommend improvements to storeroom layouts and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Purchase necessary MRO materials to ensure the availability of parts and supplies for plant operations.
- Expedite incoming materials shipments as needed.
- Communicate closely with team members awaiting receipts to prevent disruptions to plant operations.
- Locate and source critical repair parts, identifying and recommending satisfactory substitutes for unavailable materials and services.
- Perform regular analyses to determine the most efficient inventory levels required to facilitate timely and effective repairs.
- Adjust inventory strategies based on analysis findings.
- Assist other departments with purchasing requests as necessary, ensuring all teams have the materials needed for smooth operations.
