About the role

  • In this role, you'll provide specialized nursing care to adults in a 24-hour crisis stabilization program that serves as a medically necessary, voluntary, and less restrictive alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.
  • Typical stays range from 3 to 5 days but are flexible based on each individual's needs.
  • Annual ranges listed are based on a full-time, 40 hours per week position.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document clients' self administration of medications while ensuring safe medication practices.

Requirements

  • Complete assigned clinical documentation and participate in required trainings to support high quality care.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Diploma/Associates/or Bachelor's degree)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must be licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with recovery oriented treatment approaches for individuals with severe mental illness preferred
