About the role
- Starting Hourly Pay: $20.00/hr NOTE: Some PCOM staff and all PCOM active full- and part-time students are ineligible to serve as Proctors. The referenced salary range is based on PCOM good faith belief at the time of posting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional, orderly, and comfortable testing environment for test-takers; conduct pre-, during, and post-administration inspection activities in accordance with established guidelines.
- Manage behavioral and technical situations that arise within assigned testing space(s), including incident and violations reporting and documentation.
- Record and document attendance, including lateness and no-shows; review test-taker credentials prior to exam administration.
- Collaborate with academic or administrative staff to ensure that approved individual accommodations are in place for the duration of the testing period.
- Work with department leaders to distribute and collect equipment and materials to support the effective administration of exams; report technical issues and assist with resolution, as appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
