Responsibilities
- Utilize production scheduling tools to direct and maintain daily operations within assigned area(s)
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the department's equipment and machinery; comfortable following LOTO procedures and processes; comfortable operating equipment and/or machinery to cover absences and/or breaks
- Perform audits for quality and safety; share results with others and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop, supervisor and provide coaching to direct reports, including coaching on company values and guiding principles for the facility
- Understand and manage the production budget for assigned area(s); collaborate with other Production Supervisors on the overall production budget

Requirements
- Maintain strong understanding of ERP system including completing system transactions, identifying transaction issues, and understanding WIP levels

Nice to have
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of prior supervisory experience
- Experience working with ERP system
- Prior experience in a food or pet food production environment (preferred)
