About the role

- We have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Dover, NH team.
- The ME will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) on projects to ensure timely completion and proper function.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for manufacturing process and process improvements in the Dover facility. Own the flow, standard work, and equipment for the production processes.
- Support production by designing and providing new fixtures, tooling, and equipment, conducting time studies, and troubleshooting quality and process issues.
- Develop standard operating procedures and work instructions, support job safety analyses (JSAs), and be involved in PFMEA / control plans.
- Participate and drive continuous improvement activities and quality improvement initiatives relating to equipment and process. Utilize Lean manufacturing techniques.
- Provide guidance to Production Operators, Production leads, Supervisors, and Maintenance with respect to production process and equipment repair and upkeep.
- Will support the plant through cost reductions, ergonomic manufacturing programs, and participation in Kaizen events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, supporting both assembly/production processes and procedures.
- Hands-on experience with process improvements, scrap reduction initiatives, equipment/tooling design.
- Knowledge and demonstrated use of Lean manufacturing concepts.
- Experience and/or exposure to quality methodologies and equipment. Cognex and Keyence Vision Systems a plus.
- Resourceful team player with effective verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have
- Proficient with SolidWorks, proficient in AutoCAD a plus
- Previous experience with PLC controls and automation preferred (Automation Direct, AB).
- Experience and/or exposure to quality methodologies and equipment.
- Experience with fluid handling systems, pumps and plumbing systems preferred.
Compensation
- For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $73100 - $135700 / year.
- At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range.
- Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location.
- Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
- This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
