About the role

  • Operations Interns will be given almost as much responsibility as a regular employee.

Responsibilities

  • Speak with candidates, update records in recruiting systems, and maintain data integrity to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting.
  • Support project development by identifying, tracking and pursuing project leads, assist with the preparation of proposals and marketing materials.
  • First-hand experience analyzing supplier and spend data, communicating with suppliers, purchasing direct and/or indirect goods or services, and support of various projects like creating and implementing new processes.
  • Facilitate invoice processing, daily reconciliation of transactions, and monthly close process (Accounting) and support budget tracking and management and perform spend analysis to generate useful insights (Finance)
  • Business/Project Development (Part-Time)(Bastrop & Vegas): Support project development by identifying, tracking and pursuing project leads, assist with the preparation of proposals and marketing materials.
  • Support the deal-making process from start to finish, e.g., from structuring the business model to negotiating the contract.

  • Conduct research on a wide range of business and legal issues.
  • Completed or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
  • Preferred Skills and Experience Experience in engineering, logistics, construction, real estate, or business development.
  • Experience supporting a team in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Ability to act urgently and communicate often and clearly.
  • Superior organizational skills including excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Initiative in resolving problems and an independent worker, with enthusiasm and an energetic approach to work.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously.
