This role requires expertise in welding techniques, a commitment to safety, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG, Flux Core, and stick welding on structural steel components.
Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Document work performed and report any issues or defects to supervisors.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in structural welding or steel fabrication.
Proficiency in MIG, Flux Core, and stick welding techniques.
Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
An interview and weld test will be required. *Roles will be employed through Kudzu staffing for the first 480 hours.

Nice to have

Technical certification in welding preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints preferred.
Preferred Skills: Experience with modular or prefabricated construction.

Skills

Experience with modular or prefabricated construction.
AWS (American Welding Society) certification.
Forklift or crane operation experience.

Compensation

$24k-$30k
