About the role

  • Job Description What is the opportunity?
  • This role will oversee the strategy, delivery, and evolution of enterprise data ingestion, storage, and consumption solutions supporting multiple business lines and consumption patterns.

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an experienced Director - Data Distribution and Insights to lead our Data Service Canada team within the Data Distribution function.
  • The Director will also drive AI-led development practices and modern SDLC methodologies to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years in software development, with 3 years in director-level or equivalent leadership roles leading technical organizations through significant changes.
  • Experience managing multiple technology stacks, platforms, and specialized teams.
  • Experience with SQl Server, Snowflake, IBM Data Stage, Python, Spring Batch Frameworks, GraphQL, Kafka Proven success with technology transformation initiatives (modernization, tooling, processes, culture).
  • Experience establishing and maintaining strong business-technology partnerships
  • Must-have: Minimum 10+ years in software development, with 3 years in director-level or equivalent leadership roles leading technical organizations through significant changes.

  • Banking or highly regulated industry experience is a plus.
