About the role
- This role focuses heavily on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategy, implementation, and validation across email clients, endpoints, and network security controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead the secure deployment and configuration of the ShareFile Outlook Plug-In with a focus on preventing data leakage.
- Design and implement DLP controls across email, endpoints, and network gateways.
- Configure and manage Check Point Smart-1 (R82) security gateways, including access policies, HTTPS inspection, and logging.
- Support all enterprise Outlook platforms, including New Outlook, Classic Outlook, and Outlook Web App (OWA).
- Develop security documentation, risk assessments, and validation test plans.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, Compliance, and Messaging teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise cybersecurity engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Expertise with Check Point Smart-1 / Security Gateways (R82).
- Expertise with Check Point Endpoint Security (E88.x, preferably E88.62).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 email and messaging architecture.
Nice to have
- Experience with file-sharing platforms such as ShareFile or OneDrive.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview DLP or compliance tooling.
- Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles.
