Responsibilities
- Design and conduct experiments with honey bees and associated parasites and pathogens
- Maintain detailed laboratory records and contribute to scientific publications

Skills
- Strong background in molecular biology and microbiology
- Familiarity with bioinformatic tools for omics data analysis
- Demonstrated ability to write and publish first-author peer-reviewed manuscripts
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to laboratory safety
- Ability to handle and lift laboratory and beekeeping equipment
- Experience with honey bee biology and/or beekeeping practices
- Previous mentoring of undergraduate and/or graduate students
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster collaboration across departments and facilities.
Compensation
- 12-15 days of annual paid holidays
