Responsibilities
- Establish and implement programs, training, practices and procedures to enhance the DrinkPak safety culture across all functions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the safety program using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and make recommendations and implement corrective action(s) based on industry standards.
- Establishes and implements both tactical and strategic plans including objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitors, evaluates, and audits program effectiveness; effects change necessary for improvement

- This position has holistic responsibility to ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations and drive the DrinkPAK.
- Utilize hazard evaluations to implement EHS programs, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA, DOT, NFPA, EPA, and other governmental regulations and laws including OSHA 300 logs and requirements by our insurance providers.
- Ability to set long-term goals and communicate them to others.
- Ability to motivate and organize multiple efforts to accomplish goals.
- Proven experience motivating and inspiring a team to achieve industry-leading performance.
- Proven commitment to safety with a clean safety record.

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Occupational Health or related field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 to 10 years of experience in EHS within a manufacturing environment. Experience in Food & Beverage is a plus. Experience developing the EHS function is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and managerial skills.
- Thorough understanding of the policies and practices used in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated history of managing multi-site organizations, with a focus on managing high performing inter-facility logistics fleets.
- Self-motivated and self-directed with strong business acumen.
Nice to have
- At least 5 to 10 years of experience in EHS within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Food & Beverage is a plus.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred but not required.
- OSHA General Industry 10- or 30-hour training course preferred.
