About the role

  • Senior Application Developers are involved in the full systems life cycle and therefore are responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Individuals also provide input to project plans related to the application development initiative.
  • Senior Application Developers have a strong knowledge of programming languages used by the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and development of the database(s) associated with one or more applications.
  • May create technical documentation and assists in sizing of technical requirements.
  • Develops and executes self-documenting automated unit tests.
  • Supports and/or executes automated integration and end-to-end tests as well as manual exploratory testing efforts across the life cycle.
  • May lead the deployment of new modules, upgrades and fixes to the production environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or other related field.
  • Typically have 5-10 years of application programming and analysis experience.
  • Experience providing technical leadership and direction to team members.

Nice to have

  • .NET, Web App using.NET, Angular 2 preferred, WEB API, Unit Testing, Git or Team Foundation Server.

Skills

  • Integrates solutions with other applications and platforms outside the framework.
