Requirements

  • Overview Acuity is an award-winning consulting firm that provides proven management and technological services to the Federal government.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise systems engineering or backup administration.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Commvault, Veeam, or Cohesity.
  • Experience managing data in secure GovCloud or on-premises environments.

  • Backup Software: Commvault, Veeam, Cohesity.
  • Operating Systems: Windows Server, RHEL/CentOS.
  • Storage Tools: Snapshot management, deduplication, and replication.
  • Security: PKI, SSL/TLS, and FIPS 140-2 validated encryption tools.
  • Regulatory & Domain Expertise Demonstrated expertise in applying NIST 800-53 security controls for data availability.
  • Technical implementation of FedRAMP Moderate/High security baselines.
  • Understanding of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) handling procedures.
