About the role
- This role is a New York City based HYBRID position.
- We are searching for an Automation Engineer with a passion for testing, quality, correctness, and user experience.
- We are looking for an Automation Engineer who enjoys working closely with engineers, product managers, and product designers to achieve alignment on desired functionality.
Responsibilities
- Continuously create and execute test plans for existing and upcoming functionality
- Work with a distributed team to create and manage automated test cases and suites for regression, integration, and performance testing
- Perform exploratory testing to discover defects that aren't already covered by a test plan
- Troubleshoot and triage issues to identify root cause - front end or back end, and drive the fix to resolution
Requirements
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Charles)
- Experience with cloud-based testing tools (e.g.vBrowserStack)
- Ability to write clear, concise, and maintainable test scenarios using Gherkin
- Solid experience with a JavaScript testing framework like WebdriverIO
- Experience with mobile app automation frameworks like Appium (e.g., Java, JavaScript)
- Experience using Github for version control
- Ability to write and execute automation scripts for mobile apps and web apps

Compensation
- Fubo's minimum base salary for this role if hired in New York City is $135,000 per year; maximum base salary for this role is $170,000 per year.
