About the role
- Main point of contact for assigned business project in the deployment of new data and reporting solutions.
- Gather information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, disseminating high-level information into details and distinguishing user requests from their true needs
- Update templates as needed and proactively make recommendations to improve templates and other documentation.
Responsibilities
- Use standard templates to develop requirement specifications (Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), epics, user stories, acceptance criteria).
- Function as a liaison between technology teams, support teams and business units
- In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive business and product support for Data management.
- Your primary focus will involve collaborating with various teams, including Investment Management, Portfolio Construction, Trading, Compliance, Sales, Marketing, HR and Operations to support them in data automation needs.
- Use activity diagrams, use cases scenarios, flowcharts, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, interviews, and workflow analysis to create and manage requirements
- Deliver work product throughout the Agile life-cycle.
- Treat investors' money like our own.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in STEM programs, including Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business or other related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of financial concepts and the capital market, wealth management and asset management domain knowledge
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant data analytical experience
- Experienced user of Data Warehouse and Cloud Environment such as Azure, proficiency working with business intelligence, analytics and reporting tools such as Tableau, Python, R, SQL Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data management
- Strong analytical skills and statistical analysis with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate important information with attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
- Ability to interact professionally with management and professionals at various levels
- Ability to work with minimal direction, prioritize multiple projects, coach and assist others and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and changing environments and desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
Compensation
- The expected annual base salary for this role is $120,000 - $130,000, with the final number depending on your experience, skills, and education.
