About the role

  • We are looking to add a VP, Cybersecurity to our growing Information Technology Department.
  • In this role, you will report to our SVP, Operations and work closely with our vCISO.
  • As a VP, Cybersecurity, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation, execution, and administration of the organization's overall cyber defense plan.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy spanning IT and OT environments to protect critical assets and data.
  • Drive regulatory compliance and cloud security governance to ensure secure, resilient operations across all environments.
  • Optimize the allocation of the information security budget and vendor risk programs to align security investments with organizational priorities.
  • Build and develop a high-performing cybersecurity team while delivering clear, actionable risk reporting to executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to develop cybersecurity strategies using established frameworks and Zero Trust architecture.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with IT and OT security, including ICS, SCADA, SIEM, EDR, and SOC tools.

Nice to have

  • What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • relevant certifications required (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GICSP).
  • Preferred Prior leadership experience at a data center, hyperscaler or highly comparable infrastructure environment.

Compensation

  • Compensation and Benefits Competitive Salary: $230,000 - $250,000 base (commensurate with experience) + bonus + sign-on equity grant.
