About the role
- The veterinary services team supports the health, welfare, and regulatory compliance of swine herds housed in the Designated Pathogen Free (DPF) and Source Animal Facility (SAF) at the eGenesis site in Northwest Indiana.
- eGenesis is committed to supporting ongoing professional development and supports the Registered Veterinary Technician's licensure fees, continuing education, and annual conference attendance.
- The team ensures standardized veterinary medical care, surgical excellence, herd health management, regulatory compliance, and adherence to GMP requirements.
Responsibilities
- eGenesis is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing human-compatible engineered organs to address the severe global organ shortage.
- EGEN-2784, a genetically engineered porcine kidney, is the Company's lead program and is currently being evaluated in a multi-patient Expanded Access study at MGH. eGenesis is headquartered in Cambridge, MA.

- This position will provide support for daily animal care, surgical readiness and sanitation for program procedures, procurement, inventory management, GMP compliance and documentation.
Requirements
- The employee frequently is required to be walking, stooping, climbing, and crouching.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work in different environments, including farm, shop, office, and animal husbandry environments in varying weather conditions.
