About the role
- The FC serves as the primary point of contact for administrative matters and coordinates day-to-day activities.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and meeting materials
- Assist with purchasing and vendor coordination
Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, travel, expenses, and daily administrative needs of up to 7 faculty members
- Serve as primary administrative support for faculty activities (e.g., events, visitors, purchasing)
- Route faculty requests to proper functional partner, serving as their main point-of-contact to functional partners and shared service centers.
- Provide support for faculty members directly related to their teaching and research portfolio
- Provide support for events led by faculty
- Provide administrative support to all lab members
- Support proposal preparation and grant documentation
- Support lab members orientation and onboarding
- The Faculty Coordinator (FC) provides administrative and operational support to faculty to enable effective teaching and research.
- Support for families and caregivers
Nice to have
- Strong skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Experience with Canvas and Concur a plus.

- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Discretion and sound judgment
- Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately
- Stakeholder coordination
- Familiarity with higher education, research administration, or academic operations preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work across teams and with a variety of projects and constituencies.

- Certificates and Licenses:
- Will require completion of internal financial, procurement, or research compliance training
