About the role
- We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Faculty, Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) to join our team.
- Instructors will utilize hands-on training methods and up-to-date curriculum to ensure that students obtain the necessary competencies for FAA certification.
Responsibilities
- Our experienced faculty and staff are committed to helping students achieve their goals by providing hands-on experience, state-of-the-art facilities, and individualized support and guidance.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops related to aviation maintenance.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Collaborate with industry partners to remain current with best practices and emerging trends in aviation maintenance.
- Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to: Prepare and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops related to aviation maintenance.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' full time (or full time equivalent) current progressive work experience in aviation maintenance required.
- required for mandatory program accreditation.
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate, required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. must be able to work with students, technical and administrative personnel in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner.
- Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Nice to have
- Associate Degree or higher, preferred.

Skills
- This position involves teaching students the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the aviation maintenance industry.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Compensation
