About the role

  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Faculty, Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) to join our team.
  • Instructors will utilize hands-on training methods and up-to-date curriculum to ensure that students obtain the necessary competencies for FAA certification.

Responsibilities

  • Our experienced faculty and staff are committed to helping students achieve their goals by providing hands-on experience, state-of-the-art facilities, and individualized support and guidance.
  • Prepare and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops related to aviation maintenance.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to remain current with best practices and emerging trends in aviation maintenance.
  • Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to: Prepare and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops related to aviation maintenance.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' full time (or full time equivalent) current progressive work experience in aviation maintenance required.
  • required for mandatory program accreditation.
  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate, required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. must be able to work with students, technical and administrative personnel in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Nice to have

  • Associate Degree or higher, preferred.

  • This position involves teaching students the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the aviation maintenance industry.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Compensation
