About the role

  • USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app The College of Liberal Arts Anthropology Department seeks an adjunct lecturer to teach two courses for Fall 2026 on a per-course basis at the UNH Durham campus.
  • UNH is located in Durham on a 188-acre campus, 60 miles north of Boston and 8 miles from the Atlantic coast and is convenient to New Hampshire's lakes and mountains.
  • There is a student enrollment of 13,000 students, with a full-time faculty of over 600, offering 90 undergraduate and more than 70 graduate programs.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Anthropology with focus in medical and or cultural anthropology required, PhD or advanced candidacy in Anthropology in these areas preferred

Nice to have

  • Previous undergraduate teaching experience as sole or primary instructor is highly preferred
