About the role

This individual provides strategic guidance to program leadership, preserves critical institutional knowledge, supports operational continuity, and advises technical and functional teams throughout the ongoing modernization of the platform.
The SME acts as a trusted advisor to the Program Manager and technical leadership, ensuring that modernization efforts maintain the integrity of existing business processes while improving delivery through Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud technologies, and automated testing.

Support backlog refinement by validating functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and operational impacts.
Support customer engagements by providing historical context, functional expertise, and trusted advisory services.
Support transition activities and ensure continuity of operations throughout the modernization effort.
Our highly certified experts build systems that drive efficiency, accelerate modernization, and ensure mission outcomes with certainty.

Experience supporting large DoD enterprise information systems.
Ability to work effectively with government stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership.

Experience working with Agile development teams of 20+ FTEs and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
