About the role

- He/she will track and assist a cohort of students and provide academic/career advisement and registration assistance to overcome impediments to registration and graduation.
Responsibilities
- RFCUNY serves as a fiscal agent and works closely with all the CUNY campus Grants Offices to perform the core functions of post-award financial management for CUNY research projects and sponsored programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and four years' related experience required.
- Experience with data and reporting (both quantitative and qualitative written reports).
- Previous experience with academic advisement, particularly in STEM fields.
- Previous professional experience in a tech field, preferably within or adjacent to City Tech.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience or ability to quickly learn appropriate advisement and registration tools.
- A full-time employee Advisement/Career Specialist is needed to work with associate degree students in Computer Information Systems and Computer Engineering Technology programs.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- An understanding of the tech industry and its relationship to higher education.
Compensation
- Minimum - Maximum: $85,000
