About the role
- Gain valuable exposure to accounting, valuations, and investor services within SS&C's Hedge Fund Services and Private Markets groups.
- This program provides insights into middle-office services, transaction processing, applying accounting principles to complex transactions, financial reporting, pricing of complex securities, and more.
- Upon successful completion and good standing, candidates are placed in a department such as Alternative Assets, Real Assets, or Private Markets.
Responsibilities
- Support development of AI/ML features (e.g. NLP, RAG, LLMs)
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (academic or project-based)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Skills
- Build and maintain Python-based APIs and data pipelines
- Work with relational databases (SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL)
- Contribute to internal tools for reporting and workflow automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, Data)
- Learn agile, CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
