About the role

  • Act as the liaison between Production and Engineering.
  • Consults with engineers and engineering management to solve production issues.
  • Reads and understands technical manuals, instructions, and criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Receives daily line calls and reports document discrepancies.
  • Confers with management and shop personnel to develop production and design standards.
  • Creates or revises component part specification sheets.
  • Reviews product design for company standards, engineering principles, and specifications.
  • Responsible for the resolution of production issues involving unit assembly, component fit, bill of material, and electrical/mechanical diagram discrepancies in order to refine product design and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Once hired, completion of 3 of the following courses (of the supervisor's choosing) will be required:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Manages daily activities required to support manufacturing.

Nice to have

  • Relevant work experience in the HVAC industry preferred, but not required.
  • Completion of an HVAC program or other technical degree preferred, but not required.
