About the role
- Act as the liaison between Production and Engineering.
- Consults with engineers and engineering management to solve production issues.
- Reads and understands technical manuals, instructions, and criteria.
Responsibilities
- Receives daily line calls and reports document discrepancies.
- Confers with management and shop personnel to develop production and design standards.
- Creates or revises component part specification sheets.
- Reviews product design for company standards, engineering principles, and specifications.
- Responsible for the resolution of production issues involving unit assembly, component fit, bill of material, and electrical/mechanical diagram discrepancies in order to refine product design and efficiency.
Requirements
- Once hired, completion of 3 of the following courses (of the supervisor's choosing) will be required:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Manages daily activities required to support manufacturing.
Nice to have
- Relevant work experience in the HVAC industry preferred, but not required.
- Completion of an HVAC program or other technical degree preferred, but not required.
