About the role
- As an Analyst II, Business Intelligence / Data Analysis within The People Office (TPO), you will play a key role in advancing FIS's people analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support workforce and HR analytics.
- Assist in developing and maintaining data models using modern platforms such as Microsoft Fabric.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and validate data from multiple HR and enterprise systems.
- Support automation of recurring reporting and data processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear, actionable dashboards.
- This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build expertise in data visualization, workforce analytics, and modern data platforms.
- You will support the development of interactive dashboards, translate HR and business data into actionable insights, and help scale analytics solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience (including internships/co-op) in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI (report building, basic DAX, data visualization best practices).
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts.
Nice to have
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience working with HR systems (e.g., Workday) or people data.
- Experience with ETL/ELT or data transformation processes.
- Basic understanding of workforce or business performance metrics.
- Exposure to scripting languages such as Python is a plus.
