Providing in-home support and teaching practical skills to strengthen families.
Building strong relationships with families and collaborating with professionals like teachers, doctors, and social workers.
Developing service plans, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate documentation.
As an In-Home Family Services Specialist, you'll work directly with families to help them overcome challenges and build skills for long-term success.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to outside weather conditions and maybe required to visit homes with substandard living conditions and domestic pets.

Education & Experience:
Iowa Requirements: Must have a minimum of two years of post secondary education and at least two years of experience working with children and families.
Rural Iowa Exception: May qualify with four years of combined education and/or relevant experience working with children and families.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Reduced or no-cost medical visits at Boys Town locations
A unique feature for employees and their dependents enrolled in medical benefits are reduced to no cost visits for services performed by a Boys Town provider at a Boys Town location.
