Responsibilities
- Silgan Containers is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our Modesto, CA, plant to support accounts payable, inventory management, and month-end closing functions.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in using ERP software such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods as needed.
Nice to have
- 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferred in Manufacturing environment
Compensation
- The Accounting Clerk's compensation for this California-based position is competitive and based on experience, education, and skills, typically ranging from $46,500 to $58,200 per year.
