Requirements

- A Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- 2 to 10 years of experience building software systems
- Strong knowledge and experience in Python or C++.
- Experience in both is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices

- Passion for financial markets and an interest in global events and how they influence market behaviour.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on data quality and correctness.
Skills
- Experience with relational databases is an asset
- Facilitating discussions on code implementation, testing, software architecture best practices
- Collaborating with operations and trading teams to ensure production systems are in optimal condition.
- Researching the latest technologies to enhance our trading systems.
- Driving projects and leading new initiatives
- Working with complex real-time market data while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Partnering with traders to explain technical challenges, trade-offs, and potential solutions, enabling informed decision-making.
