Responsibilities
- Support Optical Cable testing and inspection processes to ensure product quality
- Assist in developing and maintaining inspection and test procedures
- Maintain records to demonstrate compliance with specifications
- Support sampling methods and basic control plans to meet quality requirements
- Review returned materials and support investigation of quality complaints
- Help manage nonconforming material documentation and track related metrics
- Identify quality trends and support problem-solving activities
- Support plant quality standards and QMS requirements
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and other departments to improve processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proficiency in Quality Management Systems like ISO 9001
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar systems
- (Strong relevant experience in lieu of a degree will be considered must have HS Diploma or GED at the minimum)
Nice to have
- 3+ years of manufacturing or quality experience
- Familiarity with ISO or similar quality standards
- Exposure to root cause analysis, corrective actions, or Lean tools
- Wire & cable or similar industry experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
