About the role

Job Description: Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Sr.
Staff Reservoir Engineer reporting to the Reservoir Engineering Manager in Midland, Texas.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

7+ years of oil and gas engineering experience
4+ years of reservoir engineering experience
Must have relevant reservoir engineering experience with unconventional resource plays in the Permian Basin
Must be self-motivated and capable of independently integrating and leading multi-disciplinary teams
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Proficiency in ComboCurve, Spotfire and Microsoft Office

Some operations experience (production, completions, drilling, etc.)
Working knowledge of Whitson (RTA) and AI platforms such as Claude
Experience in NM Delaware Basin on an asset team as a reservoir engineer

Work with multidisciplinary team to generate and execute a development plan that maximizes the value of PR's Delaware Basin Assets
Analyze lateral and vertical well spacing across all formations to determine optimal spacing within each proposed development
Analyze reservoir fluids and monitor production performance to generate accurate production forecasts for all wells
Technical analysis of potential acquisitions, divestitures, and trades and integrate with multidisciplinary team to execute on A&D strategy
