Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with organizational policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Manage and support endpoints using Microsoft Intune, or other endpoint management systems
- Develop and deploy system images across environments.
- Perform Level 3 troubleshooting and resolution of complex system issues.
- Manage enterprise backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Plan, schedule, and implement software and firmware upgrades.
- Serve as the primary support resource for critical infrastructure systems.
- Lead application upgrade, deployment, and migration efforts.
- Implement, manage, and maintain Active Directory, including Group Policy Objects (GPO).
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in solution engineering, system upgrades, patch management, and enterprise backup and recovery.
- Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting for systems automation and management.
- Familiarity with industry-standard security protocols including SSL, TLS, IPsec, HTTPS, SFTP, and Kerberos.
- The successful candidate must be a city of Philadelphia resident within six months of hire
- This role is crucial within the Philadelphia Fire Department's IT infrastructure, thus sound technical knowledge of the subject area as well as consistent reliability is required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher from an accredited four-year college or university in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
Compensation
- $65,000 - $75,000
