About the role

Innocap's Investment Team is looking for a Portfolio Monitoring Associate who is enthusiastic about using data to tell stories and solve problems.
The Associate's primary responsibilities include:

Develop a deep understanding of the manager's investment strategies by assisting in investment due diligence on new funds and co-investment opportunities.
Develop true insights on portfolio risk and return profiles, understand hedge fund manager investment rationales, and deliver actionable analysis to external clients.
Partner effectively with the Portfolio Analytics and Insights t eam to drive analytical solutions and market research forward.
Use data to tell a compelling story and create impactful visual displays of quantitative and qualitative information.
The Investment Solutions t eam delivers actionable insights and advanced portfolio analytics to support client investment decision-making and portfolio oversight.

Experience in managing and reviewing periodic deliverables for management reporting.
Knowledge of absolute return strategies and the investment industry, such as performance measurement and key risk metrics.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (French and English), with the ability to conceptualize and articulate information to internal and external stakeholders.
Higher education in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CFA designation is considered an asset.

Collaborate with lead client coverage to identify new absolute return investment opportunities.
