About the role
- Our Transportation Creative Studio Planners bring ideas to life.
- This position is available at either our Roseville or Sacramento location, so let us know your preference when applying.
Responsibilities
- Serving as partners to clients and project managers, they develop creative strategies for projects and guide entry-level Creative Studio Planners to implement these ideas.
- Our Creative Studio group, with over 20 visual designers, collaborates with senior staff to find the best ways to deliver this information to the audience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in transportation, urban and regional planning, or a related major (e.g., geography, landscape architecture, economics)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)

- 2-5 years of professional work experience in creative design, ideally within a planning, transportation, or urban design environment.
- Excellent visual and written communication skills, with an emphasis on distilling complex information into relatable stories
- Strong interpersonal skills, commitment to collaboration, and a creative approach to problem-solving
- Portfolio demonstrating visual design capabilities
Compensation
- $80k-$97k
