About the role
- Job Description Montgomery College has an immediate need for a full-time Student Success Coordinator for the Achieving Academic Excellence and Success Program (ACES).
- The work schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. with occasional weekend and evening hours.
- This is a non-bargaining, exempt, grade 27 position located in Burtonsville, MD.
Responsibilities
- The coordinator will meet with students to assess their needs and then provide follow-up student and academic support.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of college admissions, financial aid and scholarship processes
- Knowledge of career decision-making and career assessments.
- Background check with fingerprints must be completed and cleared prior to hire.
- Successful completion of a background check and degree verification (if applicable).
Nice to have
- Proficiency in foreign language preferred

- Coordinate visits to colleges, especially Montgomery College and Universities at Shady grove.
Compensation
- $67,557 - $87,813 annually.
- The maximum salary for this position is $108,068 annually.

- Initial salary placement for new hires falls between the minimum and midpoint of the range and is based on relevant candidate experience and internal equity.
