About the role

  • Serves as a mentor for faculty colleagues and a consultant to other faculty for classroom, clinical practice, and/or curriculum development.
  • Provides leadership and serves as a consultant for SON, healthcare facilities and University Committees.
  • Sustains a program of sound scholarship.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and disseminates innovative teaching methods to enhance the instructional process in academic and other forums.
  • Collaborates with colleagues in intradisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary scholarly activities.
  • Maintains certification in areas of specialty practice or CNE, as applicable.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Nice to have

  • Doctorate DNP or PHD.
  • 10 years Recent full-time college teaching and/or 5 years at the rank of Associate Professor.

  • KSBN Required
  • Certified Nurse Educator

  • Basic Life Support
  • BLS Required within 90 days of hire.

Compensation

  • Abide by Stormont Vail's Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.
