About the role
- Serves as a mentor for faculty colleagues and a consultant to other faculty for classroom, clinical practice, and/or curriculum development.
- Provides leadership and serves as a consultant for SON, healthcare facilities and University Committees.
- Sustains a program of sound scholarship.
Responsibilities
- Develops and disseminates innovative teaching methods to enhance the instructional process in academic and other forums.
- Collaborates with colleagues in intradisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary scholarly activities.
- Maintains certification in areas of specialty practice or CNE, as applicable.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Nice to have
- Doctorate DNP or PHD.
- 10 years Recent full-time college teaching and/or 5 years at the rank of Associate Professor.

- KSBN Required
- Certified Nurse Educator

- Basic Life Support
- BLS Required within 90 days of hire.
Compensation
- Abide by Stormont Vail's Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.
