Responsibilities

  • Shape the Product - Collaborate with engineering, product, and implementation teams, providing clear, concise, and empathetic communication regarding adoption impacts and GA readiness.
  • Lead Early Access Projects - Provide expert guidance to early adopters, acting as a trusted advisor and facilitating a smooth transition to GA, demonstrating self-sufficiency and independence.
  • Create Scalable Knowledge - Use AI tools to develop product adoption collateral and other documentation to serve as input for downstream enablement teams.
  • Solve Complex Challenges - Address adoption barriers, define implementation strategies, and build innovative prototypes using the latest Guidewire App Platform capabilities, applying strategic thinking and customer focus.
  • Inform Product Direction through Customer Engagement - Contribute hands-on to periodic Field Engineering customer engagements to gain insights, iterate on new products, and deliver feedback to product teams.
  • Build Relationships - Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring the success of EAA initiatives.

Requirements

  • Passionate About Knowledge Sharing - You love making people's jobs easier and enjoy scaling expertise across teams.
  • Deep Industry Expertise.
  • Experience in P&C insurance, claims, policy, and/or underwriting is required.
  • You know how to use AI effectively to accomplish technical tasks.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in configuring Guidewire enterprise software solutions for one or more insurance carriers.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: Gosu, Java, C#,.NET, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript.
  • Experience in agile methodologies.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and technologies even when formal training is not available yet.
  • Do you have deep experience with the Guidewire ecosystem?

Nice to have

  • Guidewire Certified - Prior certifications in Guidewire products are required for this role.
  • ACE certification in ClaimCenter and/or PolicyCenter preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role.
  • Experience in prompt engineering and AI evals is a plus.

Compensation

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000 - $216,000.
