About the role

  • About Vantage Data Centers Vantage Data Centers powers, cools, protects and connects the technology of the world's well-known hyperscalers, cloud providers and large enterprises.
  • Procurement Department The Procurement team is responsible for securing the equipment Vantage's data centers require to function.
  • Position Overview This role can be remote or based in any of our US locations: Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Santa Clara, CA; or Ashburn, VA.

Responsibilities

  • We work to build each other up and support one another, appreciating each other's strengths and respecting each other's weaknesses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
  • 7+ years of experience in sourcing, category management, or procurement within power infrastructure or industrial projects
  • Strong experience with HV/MV equipment and substation infrastructure
  • Experience negotiating complex global agreements and managing supplier capacity
  • Travel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves

Compensation

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
  • $200,000-$250,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
