About the role
- Urban Infraconstruction is looking for a Project Engineer to join our Heavy Civil division.
- This role will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Assist with the planning and execution of heavy civil construction projects including roadways, bridges, underground utilities, grading, and concrete structures.
Responsibilities
- Support project management teams with scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and cost tracking.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily reports, and project documentation.
- Track project quantities, production rates, and material deliveries to maintain project progress and efficiency.
- Assist in maintaining project schedules and support monthly progress reporting.
- Support project close-out activities including punch lists, as-builts, and final documentation.
- You will support the planning, coordination, and execution of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, site development, utilities, earthwork, and roadway improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Heavy Civil Construction or related infrastructure projects
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as required
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience with roadway, bridge, utility, excavation, grading, or concrete projects is preferred
