About the role
- The position works collaboratively across divisions to improve budget processes, reporting, and financial transparency while supporting strategic priorities and long-term financial sustainability.
- Analyzes budget-to-actual results, identifies trends and risks, and prepares recurring and ad hoc reports for senior leadership, committees, and other stakeholders.
- Provides leadership, supervision, and direction for Budget Office functions and staff.
Responsibilities
- This position oversees the University's budget development, planning, forecasting, and financial analysis functions to support effective institutional decision-making and responsible stewardship of resources.
- Oversees budget submissions, reviews divisional requests, and supports alignment of institutional resources with strategic priorities and financial sustainability goals.
- Develops financial analyses, reports, dashboards, and forecasting tools to monitor institutional financial performance and support decision-making.
- Ser Leads efforts to strengthen budget systems, reporting tools, and financial planning processes, including effective use of Workday and related technologies.

Requirements
- All candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and complete employment eligibility verification by the first day of employment at Loyola University Maryland, as required by law (e.g., Form I-9).
Compensation
- Leads and coordinates the University's annual operating and capital budget processes, including development of budget assumptions, preparation of planning models, multi-year forecasts, and budget guidance.
