Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, administer, and optimize cloud and infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or similar automation technologies.
  • Build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Implement cloud security controls and infrastructure hardening standards including IAM, endpoint protection, network security policies, and intrusion detection/prevention solutions.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline integration and infrastructure deployment automation in collaboration with DevOps and application delivery teams.
  • Configure and manage virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere and cloud-native compute services.
  • Manage enterprise networking infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VPN connectivity, routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, and wireless networking.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture standards, operational procedures, and technical runbooks.
  • Support compliance and governance initiatives including PCI DSS, SOC 1, and SOC 2 by maintaining technical controls, configurations, and audit evidence.
  • Provide Tier III infrastructure engineering support for critical production environments.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • college degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and systems administration.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Must have experience working closely with users and management.
  • Able to work under limited supervision and exercise independent judgment.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing.
  • Understanding of cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance best practices.

Skills

  • Working technical knowledge of current systems hardware, protocols, and standards.
  • Experience managing IP based systems consisting of multiple subnets and VLANs.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
